AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Venezuela's deputy minister of foreign affairs said here on Monday that crises cause instability and war at the international level and hoped that dialogues and peace would lead to multilateralism.

Venezuela's Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs made the remarks in The 2022 Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF), hoping that dialogues and peace would be manifested in multilateralism.

The 2022 Tehran Dialogue Forum (TDF) kicked off on Monday 19 December 2022, with a speech by Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.

The forum’s mantra is “Islamic Republic of Iran's Neighborhood Policy: Friendship & Trust Building Strategy”.

It is being held in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs' Center for Political and International Studies with the presence of many foreign diplomats, especially from Iran’s neighboring countries.

Some 70 foreign guests from 36 countries, including politicians and diplomats, think tanks and research institutes managers and researchers participated in the meeting.

The event features the managers of Iranian think tanks and foreign ambassadors in Tehran.

Four panel discussions scheduled to take place after TDF’s opening ceremony include The Latest Developments in West Asia, Persian Gulf Security, The Ukraine Crisis and its Regional and International Aftermaths, and Perspective of Peace and All-Encompassing Government in Afghanistan.

The first and second editions of the TDF were held in 2019 and 2020 bringing together regional politicians and thinkers in international studies, especially from West Asia.
