UN Special envoy for Syria due in Tehran

AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): United Nations Special Envoy for Syria Geir Pedersen on Thursday welcomed the upcoming meeting of the Iranian, Russian and Turkish presidents in Iran, saying that he will soon travel to Tehran to attend meeting on Syria.

He further noted that the Russian and Turkish governments have helped the process of talks on Syrian Constitution.

Noting that he will soon visit Tehran, Pedersen said that meeting of the Iranian, Russian and Turkish presidents can contribute to the ongoing efforts to settle the Syrian crisis.
