AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): The Israeli authorities released Palestinian female prisoner, Ola Marshoud, a student at the al-Najah National University in Nablus in the northern West Bank, on Thursday, after 7 months of detention.
Marshud, from the Balata refugee camp of Nablus, was detained by Israeli forces last March, after being summoned for an interview with the Israeli intelligence at the Huwwara Israeli military camp.
She was then transferred to an interrogation center in Petah Tikva, where she was sentenced to 7 months of prison.
According to Palestinian prisoners rights group Addameer, as of September, there are 5781 Palestinians being held in Israeli prisons, 65 of them are female prisoners.
