The source said that the army has forwarded hundreds of Tiger Forces to the town of al-Salamiyah to join the pro-government forces' imminent operation against ISIS in Aqayrabat region that is considered as the most important bastion of the terrorist groups in Eastern Hama.
The source went of to say that the Tiger Forces carried out their operation in Southeastern Raqqa successfully.
The source further added that a part of the Tiger Forces will be sent to Deir Ezzur to participate in the liberation operation of the town of Ma'adan.
Earlier reports said that the army' artillery units targeted the positions of Al-Nusra Front in al-Satahiyat region, killing and wounding a large number of terrorists and forcing others to flee their positions.
In the meantime, the artillery units launched heavy shelling on Al-Nusra's strongholds in Wadi (desert) al-Jiseh near the village of al-Qantarah in Southwestern Hama, killing the entire members of a group of militants, including their commander Abu Seifu.
A military vehicle of Al-Nusra was also destroyed in the attack.
In the meantime, Al-Nusra suffered several casualties in the artillery attack on its position in the village of Tal Dareh.
