The International Media Unit, affiliated to the Holy Shrine of Imam Hussein, in coordination with Imam al-Khoei Foundation met with the British MP Baroness Sayeeda Warsi, former Foreign Minister, in Khoja Center Building in Leicester on Friday, April 17, 2015.
Maher Soltan, IMU representative, clarified the revivalism of Imam Hussein and his principles and oppression, pointing out the importance of disseminating the voice of the Shia community to the British Parliament.
After examining Hussein Revivalism, one of IMU-s seven international publications, the Baroness showed her appeal and satisfaction and asserted that the Shia Muslims are not sectarian as portrayed in media.
It is worth mentioning that Hussein Revivalism magazine was distributed to the attendees where they expressed their fascination to the topics discussed.
