In the visitation of a group of Sunni clerics from the sacred premises of the Razavi Holy Shrine, Mamusta Aflatun Fatahi said: Unity among two sects of Shi'as and Sunnis means to put the differences away and to rely on the common shares. He also said: It is all Muslims duty to ignore all the disagreements in issues of Islam world and to move in the same direction.
Saying that religious differences are not a barrier for Muslims’ unity against enemies, he said: Unity among Sunnis and Shi'as does not mean to give up the principles but it means to pave the way for interaction and same-directed movements, despite of existing differences.
This Sunni cleric said: Islam’s enemies are always trying to make devils and plots and they strive to make disagreement among the Islamic sects and to destroy them.
He added: Those who try to make gap between Muslims will never succeed in this movement since thanks to the presence of holy regime of Islamic Republic of Iran and the thoughtful management of the Supreme Leader increasing unity and brotherhood among followers of different Islamic sects and also peaceful life among them can be seen inside the country.
Fatahi added: Iran’s Supreme Leader has repeatedly emphasized on the value and the significance of unity among world Muslims and has recognized it as a necessary affair.
He stated: We have come to Mashhad in Unity Week to hold the unity celebrations with our Shi'a brothers in the illuminated shrine of Hazrat Reza (A.S.) for the purpose of counteracting the plots of all enemies.
This 70-membered group of Sunni clerics from West Azarbayejan province visited the illuminated shrine of Hazrat Reza (A.S.), Scientific Researches Foundation, the Central Library and the Central Museum of Astan Quds Razavi.
