Bahrain: arrests and home raids after crackdown on assembly

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Bahrain regime forces have arrested a number of youths after a crackdown on an assembly out the house of Sheik Ali Salman, Secretary-General of Al Wefaq National Islamic Society. The assembly protested the arrest of Salman this afternoon.The forces also raided a number of homes in the area and used an excessive amount of toxic tear gas directing canisters at the crowds, and causing suffocation among protesters./129
