(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Following is a summary:The First SermonIn the first sermon, His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, talked about Satan and the ways of fighting and overcoming him, citing the symbolic act of throwing stones at him in Hajj as an object lesson. He said that Satan is not strong and although he will try to tempt us to his ways all our life, he cannot prevail as long as we hold fast to the convent of Allah and as long as we remain pious in that we obey Allah. If we do that we will be strong enough to confront all the challenges that we meet in our life..The Sayyed also commented on the symbolism of the unity of Muslim as they perform all Hajj rites. Allah wanted the Muslims to learn that no matter how much they differ and divide into sects or social and political entities, they will meet on the fact that they are Muslims believing in the one and only God, which ought to unite them. The second sermonIn the second sermon, His Eminence, Sayyed Ali Fadlullah, noted that the unity the rite of Hajj demonstrates is distorted by those who spread corruption on earth, creating bloody tragedies in the name of an Islam they have distorted the notions of love and mercy it embodies. The Sayyed added that this is what we see in Iraq even in the days of the Eid, where the continuous series of explosions aims at dividing the Iraqi people. The Sayyed wondered about what prevents the religious and political leaders form condemning these acts, and valued the patience of the Iraqi people that is confronting this plot and undermining it.Egypt too is meant to enter into a state of chaos and instability, which calls on all that have wisdom to circumvent the internal conflict. The Sayyed called on the authorities in Bahrain to respond the people’s demand of reform. The Sayyed considered that the only way to end the bloody conflict in Syria is to benefit of every chance they might get to engage into a dialogue that constitutes the only means to make Syria regain its strength and role.In Lebanon, the Sayyed called for solving the differences on the oil issue in a swift and transparent way having in mind the national interests and that of confessions or sects. He also called for the establishment of a national unity government to confront the security threats that endanger Lebanon./129
