(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - University of Dundee has inaugurated a mosque to promote dialogue among various religions and enlightenment of Islamic culture in the society.
Mirza Al-Shaiq the head of academic board of this university has said that I am very pleased that this mosque has been inaugurated to familiarize the people of Scotland with Islam.
He further added that I am hopeful that not only the people of college rather the other citizens of this city will also appreciate this step.
It is noteworthy that the construction of Al-Makhtoom mosque will cost approximately thirteen hundred thousand pounds. The officials of this mosque said that the doors of this mosque will always remain open for the followers of all religions.
It is noteworthy that the Al-Makhtoom institute of Scotland has provided expenses of the construction of this mosque which was established in 2005 in Scotland.
