Top Turkish Shiite Figure: We Don’t Stay Silent Against Oppression in Syria

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Prominent Turkish Shiite figure, Selahattin Ozgunduz made a speech addressing thousands of people in Zeynebiye Mosque and after the Friday Prayer and declared important statements on the agenda:

God curse all the oppressors!

God has given a kind of passion to Imam Hussein’s name that all the believers love him. This is the nature of being faithful. This is the nature of believing in Mohammad. The believers love Hussein more than their own kids. God bless our faith. Are we guilty for loving Hussein?
 “Now they say why those who love Hussein are silent about the crisis in Syria. We are not silent. We say that God curse those who are destroying Syria, those who send terrorists to Syria, those who send weapons to Syria in order to take revenge on Syria for their resistance against Israel. We don’t stay silent. When did we keep silent? God damn those who kill the kids. Damn those who killed Ali Asghar in Karbala and those who are killing the babies in Syria.”

We are hurting more than any other people for the blood that is being spilled in Syria

We are not supporting murderers. We are not supporting oppressors. But God curse those who bring terrorists and criminals from 29 different countries to break the Syrian resistance against Israel.

We are free. There isn’t enough money in the world to buy us. We are owned by Ali. We won’t sell ourselves to anybody else. We say whatever we think about.

Tell us if our information is wrong!

Someone come and tell us that the great American project in the Middle East is a blessing from Allah to the Muslim Ummah. Someone come and tell us that the Britain, France, USA and Israel have a plan to save the Muslims from oppression and want to bring comfort to them. Someone come and say that we are wrong and they are the blessings.  

Someone brings the terrorists, criminals and wicked people and killed the women and children and then they want to blame it on that country’s government. and they wants us to believe that? We are not stupid. We won’t believe this. The terrorists are being arrested. Some of them were killed. But those who were captured have confessed to the massacres and that they have killed kids.
 
Why did we become friend with Wahhabis?!

You were saying that the companions of the Prophet are your role models. You were saying that you respect the Prophet’s companions. Now who are the ones who are destroying and desecrating the tombs of martyrs like Hamza and others from the battles of   Badr and Ohud. YOU are the friend of these people. Why have we become their friends?

The British brought them into being to overthrow this government and this country’s unity. Didn’t the British bring them into being? Am I just making it up by my own?
And now they are moving in the direction that the British wants. Why did we become their friends? Someone should give an answer to this question. Why did we become the friends of the Wahhabis?

Hujr Ibn Adi was a king’s son. They desecrated his grave and they were not ashamed of what they did. The corpse was exhumed after 1400 years. They took it out. Now aren’t you ashamed? What kind of a friendship do you have with these kinds of people that you are taking money from our own people in order to support them?

Jaffer Tayyar … Why is he called Tayyar, his surname was not Tayyar. His surename was Jafari Hashemi. He was Jafar Ibn Abu Talib. So why is he called Tayyar? He had fought in the path of Islam against the emperors. He had lost his both hands like Hz. Abbas. The Prophet commanded that "Do not worry, God gave him two wings instead of two arms, he flies like an angel". After that the Ummah called him Ja'far al-Tayyar. Recently they burned the tomb. And you are friend with them!

The government must protect its citizens

The duty of a government is to protect its citizens’ property, life, dignity and chastity. If it doesn’t do that it doesn’t have the right to get taxes. This is the reason for a government’s being. It is why a government exists. In Antakya, peoples relatives are being killed in the other side of the boarders while at the same time terrorists are being feed in that city and moreover they attack the house of Ali Yeral when he is abroad. How are you engaged with these kinds of actions? You should be ashamed of what you do.

God give us eyes to see, a heart to understand and ears to hear. In the Quran, God says that “by blindness I don’t mean not being able to see by the two eyes, I mean the eyes that you can see the truth by them. Those who don’t see the truth are blind”. God give us eyes and heart to see and understand the reality.

Even though America, Israel and others do their best but God please save our countries unity. Even with the reality that Saudi Arabia has sold itself, Allah please don’t take the unity away from our Islamic Ummah.
