(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Two Palestinians, accused of having opened fire on a settler's vehicle in the West Bank on September 30, have been arrested, Israel's internal security service Shin Bet said.
The men, from the village of Azzun near the northern West Bank city of Nablus, were arrested on October 3, three days after the incident, but a gag order was imposed on the case until Thursday, Israeli channel seven website reported.
During the attack, the Israeli vehicle was fired upon while en route to the settlement of Karni Shomron, close to Azzun. There were no injuries but the vehicle was damaged, the reprot said.
The Israeli website claimed that the suspects, aged 20 and 23, admitted taking part in the shooting during the interrogation, adding that they would stand trial at a military court in the West Bank.
