The penetrations of Hezbollah's drone into Israel signified that anti-US and anti-Zionist forces enjoy the ability to respond to any possible hostile action by the US and Zionists anywhere in the world, a senior commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said on Sunday.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Commander of the IRGC's Tehran Corps General Mohsen Kazzemeini praised Hezbollah's drone flight over Israel's sensitive and vital areas, and stated, "This showed that Zionists and Americans should come to know the fact that they have been left with no safe haven."

The commander further renewed Iran's continued support for anti-Zionist forces and anti-arrogant movements in the region, and stated, "What is for sure and the entire world knows is that the Islamic Republic's capabilities are very good, and we believe that we should assist not only Hezbollah but also all those fighting against the Zionist regime and the global arrogance."

Earlier this month, a drone could penetrate Israel's missile shields and reached the regime's sensitive nuclear center in the Negev desert. As the pilotless drone was flying over the Yatir forest in the South Mount Hebron area, the Israeli army was trying to figure out what its destination was.

Later, Secretary-General of Hezbollah Seyed Hassan Nasrallah confirmed that the movement has sent a drone deep into the Israeli airspace, and stressed that the move demonstrated part of Hezbollah's capability.

Nasrallah further stated that Hezbollah's drones use Iranian technology, but are assembled by his resistance movement in Lebanon.

General Kazzemeini's remarks come after Supreme Leader of Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei earlier this year stressed Iran's direct involvement in the Palestinian and Lebanese confrontation against Israel, including the Lebanese Summer 2006 33-day resistance against the Zionist regime.

"Wherever Iran interferes, it announces it in a very straightforward manner. For instance, we interfered in confrontations against Israel, which resulted in the (Lebanese) victory in the 33-day war and (Palestinians' victory in) the 22-day (Gaza) war," Ayatollah Khamenei said, addressing millions of Friday Prayers worshippers on Tehran University Campus.

"In future too, we will support and help everyone who opposes the Zionist regime," the Leader underscored.

"The Zionist regime is a real cancerous tumor that should be cut and will be cut, God Willing," Ayatollah Khamenei underscored.
