The member states of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) who attended the Tehran summit warned against the plots hatched by the enemies of humanity who seek to sow discord among nations and governments in a bid to expand their dominance over the world, Ahmadinejad said.
All the NAM states underscored the importance of avoiding violence and the need for logic and dialogue in tackling international challenges, said the Iranian President in a closing address he delivered on Friday as a recap on the major outcomes of the 16th Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) summit in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
The Iranian president stated, "All the members underlined the (need for the) promotion of the status of the movement and the preparation of the grounds for the establishment of the required structures for the mutual reinforcement of the members' capabilities and joint involvement in the global interactions and equations."
"All the members underlined the necessity for fundamental transformation in the global management and interactions. All the members emphasized public participation in the management (of the world) based on justice and amity as the foundation of sustainable peace," he said.
Ahmadinejad said the NAM members must join efforts to establish a temporary secretariat and organize the bloc's systematic structure.
Expressing gratitude for the effective participation of the NAM members in the Tehran conference, the Iranian chief executive hailed the achievements of the 16th Summit as "unprecedented" and predicted a "bright, glorious and effective" prospect for the movement.

During the two-day meeting presided by Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad a number of 63 leaders of the NAM member states conveyed their opinions to their counterparts in the largest international grouping after the UN.
During the closing ceremony, the participating heads of state approved and issued a final statement with over 680 paragraphs on various topics, including opposition to aliens' interference in Syria's internal affairs, opposition to the unilateral sanctions against countries, supporting countries' independence and supporting the Palestinian cause and the Palestinian nation's rights.
Opposition to political misuse of human rights, necessity of nuclear disarmament,
opposition to racism and Islamophobia, developing a mechanism to follow up on NAM's approvals and decisions through a secretariat, support for Iran's right to make a peaceful use of the nuclear energy, and opposition to the United States' unilateral sanctions are among the main topics touched in the final statement.
The NAM conference kicked off work here in the Iranian capital on Sunday. NAM's experts first discussed the agenda of the summit meeting on Sunday and Monday followed by the foreign ministers' meeting on Tuesday and Wednesday before the two-day heads-of-state summit which ended tonight.
