(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - "All the member states should use the potentials and capacities of the 16th summit and the NAM to take great and effective steps in the international community through cooperation and partnership in the movement," Ahmadinejad said in a meeting with Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari on the sidelines of the NAM summit here in Tehran on Thursday evening.
Zardari, for his part, described the NAM summit as a "great success" for the Islamic Republic.
"Participants in the summit can take important decisions to do important works," the Pakistani president underscored.
NAM is comprised of some 120 member states and 17 observer countries.
NAM is an international organization of states considering themselves not formally aligned with or against any major power bloc. NAM is the largest grouping of countries outside of the United Nations.
NAM member states represent nearly two-thirds of the United Nations' members and comprise 55% of the world population, particularly countries considered to be developing or part of the Third World.
