Special envoy of the Saudi Arabian King Abdullah, Prince Abd al-Aziz bin Abdullah said that all 120 member-states of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) should recognize the Palestinian statehood.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Prince Abd al-Aziz bin Abdullah is the son of Saudi King Abdullah and is Saudi deputy foreign minister.

He noted that if all NAM member-states officially recognize Palestine as an independent country it would be a great help to that country.

'We should try to remove the existing obstacles through cooperation and taking measures based on bilateral dialogue and under the auspices of international justice,' Prince Abd al-Aziz added.

Elaborating on the measures taken by Saudi King Abdullah for dialogue among religions, the Saudi envoy said that building King Abdullah Center for Dialogue Among Religions in Vienna with the cooperation of Austria and Spain is one of the measures taken by his country for dialogue among religions.

'We believe that the security of energy is not merely the security of supply, but it is also the security of demand,' Prince Abd al-Aziz further said.
