(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Speaking to a group of journalists in Beirut, Amir Abdollahian made the remarks following his negotiations with Lebanese officials.
Morsi proposed a plan of setting up a 'quartet contact committee', consists of Iran, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Turkey on the sidelines of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) summit meeting held in Mecca, on settling Syrian crisis within 18 months.
He said the Islamic Republic of Iran strongly supports the Syrian people and the President Bashar al-Assad reform plans, adding Tehran considered any foreign meddling, terrorist actions and armed activities against the will of the Syrian nation.
