(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A senior political source said yesterday (Tuesday) that Iran "is playing a game" in order to acquire facilities. According to the source, the Iranians are attached to their nuclear program, and they do not intend to abandon it. We have already seen what the fate of similar agreements in the past was. The source urged the political friends of "Israel" not to lessen the sanctions against Iran and to be inflexible.
President of the International Energy Agency (IAEA), Yukiya Amano, said an agreement was reached with Iran on its nuclear program. As per his words, the agreement will be signed soon, which will allow the watchdogs to visit its nuclear facilities. Amano declared this announcement in Vienna, after he met Iran's top nuclear negotiator, Saeed Jalili.
As stated by Amano, Jalili said that the differences of opinion between the parties did not prevent the achievement of the agreement. Tomorrow, representatives of the major powers are supposed to meet in Baghdad with representatives of Iran for talks on Tehran's nuclear program.
In al-Quds (Jerusalem) they expressed their doubts about the agreement to-be between the (IAEA) and Iran and said that they have seen what the fate of similar previous agreements was since Iran negated several sequential agreements in the past.
Political sources say that it is important to choose between the monitored talks with the (IAEA) and the talks between the major powers and Iran, which will be renewed on Wednesday in Baghdad.
Monitoring is important, but it's not everything. The major powers are not
allowed to make concessions to Iran.
Minister of Intelligence affairs said this morning that the Iranians had already deceived the IAEA and their credibility cannot be relied on. Yesterday, The US Senate passed a law to toughen the economic sanctions against Iran.
Head of the Amano's research department, Itay Baron, said that the international pressures on Iran and its internal situation worry the regime and push it to collaborate with the international community. However, that pressure doesn't change the policy of Iran regarding its nuclear program.
During a debate session at the Committee of Foreign Affairs and Security of the Knesset Baron said that the Iranian's 20% enrichment of the uranium has multiplied by three-and in the end of the year the amount of uranium would be sufficient for one whole nuclear facility. According to his words today Iran does not have the means to enrich uranium to the level of 93% but can do so in half a year or even in a year.
Baron also referred to Hezbollah and said that the organization has surface to sea missiles, unmanned aircrafts, and large amounts of anti-tank missiles and bombs. "When confrontation "Israel", Hezbollah will fire a large numbers of missiles," he said.
