(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - An academic board member of Al-Mustafa International University said sacrileges like the recent affront to Imam Hadi (AS) are committed by those who are fool and ignorant and struggle against purity and the light of faith and guidance.Hojat-ol-Islam Mehdi Rostamnejad added that those who commit such sacrileges have no logic and only pursue the language of killing, terror, insult and contempt. There have been examples of such people throughout the history, including those who taunted the messengers of God, he said.Hojat-ol-Islam Rostamnejad stressed these people are opposed to purity, referring to verse 82 of Surah A’araf that relates the story of Prophet Lot “But the answer of his people was only that they said, Evict them from your city! Indeed, they are men who keep themselves pure”.Elsewhere in his remarks the Al-Mustafa University scholar highlighted different aspects of Imam Hadi’s (AS) life and character, saying the stances and Hadiths of Imam (AS) are an unending heritage. He said during the lifetime of Imam Hadi (AS), important events took place in the Muslim world and that the Imam (AS) who was in the Abbasid Caliph’s military camp and had little access to Shia communities spread the true teachings of Islamic through cultural activities. /129
