Anti-capitalism protesters in the United States, the 99-percenters, have once again taken to the streets in the port city of Oakland to protest against police crackdown on the protests.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Despite massive police crackdowns on the demonstrators, the unemployed people and members of workers' unions attended the rallies to challenge the US police brutality.

The protesters have already filed a lawsuit against Oakland police officials after their encampment was forcefully removed earlier this year.

The US police have arrested a large number of people during anti-Wall Street protests in the city.

Meanwhile, in Louisville, Kentucky police forces arrested a disabled war veteran in an occupy protest in Sarasota, Florida.
