(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Foreigners who come to Turkey for work, foreign tourists and non-Muslim residents hear the sound of Azzan five times a day, they feel enticed by prayer call.
Prayer call has a great influence on their hearts. That is why every year in different cities of Turkey a great number of non-Muslims have embraced Islam, majority of it constitute women.
According to the report of Turkish Ministry of religious affairs during last year, 634 people have embraced Islam in Turkey, out of them 467 were women, average age of these individuals were between 30 to 35 years and these individuals are from Germany, Holland, France, China, Brazil, America and Romania.
According to the report of daily Al-Wast news, a religious scholar of Qaisari, city of Turkey while talking about this topic said that prayer call (Azzan) is the first thing which persuades Non-Muslims. After hearing this prayer call start to collect information about Islam and started meetings with prayer leaders and discuss and talk about Islam and then for further information they consult Quran and much impressed by the verses of Holy Quran, they embrace Islam.
