(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - On 3 November 2011, the Saudi Wahhabi authorities detained the Shi'a citizens (Sayyid Hashim Ahmad Al Sharaf) from Tarout Island in Qatif.
The security police arrested Al Sharaf at the checkpoint when he returned from his work.
Hashim Al Sharaf, was accused of participation in demonstrations protested in last March against sectarian discrimination and demanding the release of prisoners who are being held without trial.
