Iran support for oppressed nations has roots in Islam

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Iran’s support for oppressed nations has roots in Islamic values, head of Iran's judiciary, Ayatollah Sadegh Amoli-Larijani said on Wednesday.

Addressing a meeting of senior judiciary officials, he noted that the US military and political interference in other countries is a significant example of state terrorism.

“The recent US claims about Iran’s plot to assassinate the Saudi ambassador to Washington is an example of the US double standard behavior toward human rights,” the head of Iran’s judiciary said.
 
Referring to the US crimes against Afghan and Iraqi nations as well as Washington’s support for the racist Zionist regime's crimes toward the Palestinian and the Lebanese nations, he added that human right is manipulated by the arrogant powers as a political tool.

“Military intervention in other countries has no place in the Iranian Revolutinary Guards Corps (IRGC) doctrine and its’ support for the oppressed peoples around the world is spiritual' Ayatollah Larijani noted.

Iran has respect for Iraq and Afghanistan's sovereignty and doesn’t intervene in the internal affairs of those two countries, stated Amoli-Larijani.

He meanwhile underlined that the “We are the 99 percent” movement against capital governing system in the US shows that peoples around the world including the US citizens have been awakened and realized the falseness of US human rights’ claims.
