Aiming to boost its international cooperation, Islamic University of Moscow hosted delegations from Iran and Egypt.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) -  Aiming to boost its international cooperation, Islamic University of Moscow hosted delegations from Iran and Egypt.  According to golosislama.ru, the Office for Muslims Affairs in Russia announced that two delegations consisting of Egyptian and Iranian scholars respectively headed by Ahmad Foad Isma’il, head of the university in Tanta city and Hojat-ol-Islam Seyyed Reza Moaddab, research deputy of Qom University and head of the Quran Research Association of Qom Seminary School visited Islamic University of Moscow.  The meeting was held with the presence of Ala Al-Hadidi, Egyptian ambassador in Russia and Marat Hazrat Murtazin, president of the university.  An agreement of cooperation was signed between the university and the delegations and educational issues of the students were discussed.  Iranian deputy appreciated the efforts of the university in making the students familiar with Islamic teachings and introduced the seminary school’s scientific and educational activities and Quranic researches.  The groups also visited various parts of the university as well as its publications and international sections.  The meeting was held in association with Iran Cultural Center in Russia./129
