(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Engineering and technical Cadres in al Abbas Holy Shrine reached an advanced level in expansion project of the holy shrine, this announced by the head of engineering project department, Eng. Dhia Mejed al Saygh. Added: The work has been divided into 18 parts, where the work started in part no. 10 till 14, from al Imam al Kazem gate to al Alqami, where the concrete works have been done for three floors, and 90% of other works have been completed. After this area, the work began in the region, from al Imam al Hassan gate to al Imam al Kazem, parts no. 6 till 8 with area 900 M2. Claimed, concrete work has been completed to basement and the first floors, where the work stopped, because roofing works. The work moved to part no. 18 south west side of the holy shrine, the area from Imam Ali gate and al Qeblah with area 750 m2, where the work is in the first phase" basement" which is the hardest step in the work, because cleaning old concrete, electricity and water pipes. Other works can be done after concrete phase, such as electricity, establishing cameras and fire speakers and other things, they are from the best origin. It is well to be mentioned that the expansion project adds to the area of the holy shrine more than 5800 m2 in three floors, with advanced devices. The underground water has been treated by using pipes in the basement transforming the water to wells established for this target.
