(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Bait Al Mashura Finance Consultations Company in Qatar is organizing the second annual conference for the Islamic Finance with the theme “Islamic banking between reality and expectations.” The one-day event, which is to be held on October 10 in Doha, brings together a number of top national and international scholars and experts of Islamic financial banking.The conference to be covers four main themes related to the causes and effects of the multitude of fatwas (religious ruling) on Islamic banking; evaluation of the Islamic banking as a global reality, which is gaining new confidence since the recent financial crisis; liquidity management solutions for Islamic banks; importance of human resource management in Islamic banking; including the role of women in Islamic finance.The conference seeks to achieve its objectives in a variety of ways, including the unification of fatwas favouring Islamic banking, the evaluation of the Islamic banking experience in addition to addressing the challenges facing the sector in terms of liquidity management and payment instruments, Bait al-Mashura managing director and CEO Osama al-Derae told a press conference. Bait al-Mashura vice-chairman Khaled bin Ibrahim al-Sulaiti said the success of last year’s conference encouraged the organizers to hold the second edition in order to enhance interdependence and co-operation between Islamic financial institutions.
