(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to Al-Alam Network, a Bahraini opposition figure, Seyed Hadi Mousavi, has said that up to now more than 400 students have been banned from academic studies due to their participation in peaceful anti-regime protests, and activity in Facebook and Twitter websites.
This opposition figure noted that the majority of expelled students were on the verge of graduation.
He underlined that a list of seventeen university professors and dozens of Bahraini university employees have been presented to the fact-finding committee for participation in peaceful demonstrations.
During the recent months, a large number of Bahraini people, active in different media, medical, cultural, and military domains, have been sacked due to their protests to Aale Khalifa regime’s repressive policies.
Bahrain has been the scene of a popular uprising against Aale Khalifa regime as of February 14.
