(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A Quran manuscript attributed to Imam Ali (AS) was unveiled in a ceremony at the 19th International Holy Quran Exhibition last night, August 15.
Saeed Afshar, head of the exhibitions conferences committee told that the copy belongs to Pakistan and it is said to have been scribed by the Commander of the Faithful (AS).
Directors of the different sections of the exhibition as well as foreign guests were present at the ceremony.
The printed versions of the copy had already been put on display at Pakistans pavilion in the international section of the exhibit.
Syria, Lebanon, India, Pakistan, China, Malaysia, Afghanistan, Turkey and Azerbaijan are among the countries participating in the 19th edition of the exhibition.
The international Quranic event will go on until Friday, August 26.
