Quran Exhibition, A Definitive Response to Those Accusing Shiites of Indifference to Quran

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Head of the 19th International Holy Quran Exhibition said the exhibition is a definitive response against accusations that Shiites pay little attention to the Quran.  Hojat-ol-Islam Mohammadi said organizing the exhibition signifies Iran’s efforts in Quranic fields.  He said spending for holding the exhibition is among the best and most beneficial ways for spending funds.  Referring to verse 66 of Surah Al-Anfal “Now hath Allah lightened your burden, for He knoweth that there is weakness in you. So if there be of you a steadfast hundred they shall overcome two hundred, and if there be of you a thousand (steadfast) they shall overcome two thousand by permission of Allah. Allah is with the steadfast”, he noted that God will bless those spending for promotion of the Quranic teachings. “We will continue on this path steadfastly,” he stressed.  He said the exhibition’s programs are covered by various TV networks, adding that the event has been influential internationally. “The views of many Muslims in other countries about Iran have become positive thanks to the International Quran Exhibition.”/129
