Holy Quran memorizing, reciting contests holds in Syria

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Sponsored by Iranian Cultural Centre in Syria, special contests of reciting and memorizing the Holy Quran for men will be held from July 27, 2011.According to the public relations office of the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization (ICRO), the memorizing contests will be started in three phases for different ages.During the holy month of Ramadan some rewards will be granted to the winners by Iranian and Syrian officials.About 70 men have attended in different phases of this contest./129
