The Bahraini Polytechnic University has deprived 49 students of academic studies.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - According to Al-Alam News Network, citing a Bahraini paper, Al-Awsat, the said Bahraini university has banned the academic studies of 49 students due to their participation in anti-regime protests, while imposing temporary study bans on 14 other students.

A number of expelled Bahraini students emphasized that their participation in anti-regime protests took place prior to reopening of this Bahraini university.

The popular uprising of Bahraini nation has started as of February 14, and has entailed a string of deadly clashes between the Saudi-backed Bahraini forces and the people of Bahrain, resulting in the death, injury, or detention of hundreds of Bahraini protesters, while hundreds of other Bahraini protesters have gone missing.
