(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - 22nd anniversary of demise of Imam Khomeini was commemorated in Madrid on Saturday evening.
In the ceremony which was held in Iran’s embassy in Madrid, a great number of Iranians living in Spain and their families as well as Iraqi Shia Muslims were present.
Addressing the guests among which there were some Spanish Iranologists , Iran’s Ambassador to Madrid Morteza Safari discussed the historic role of Imam Khomeini’s ideas in the international developments and stressed that Islamic Revolution under the leadership of Imam Khomeini was a turning point in the modern history of Iran.
