Saudi security authorities dispersed demonstration in the town of Tarout made up of Shiite Muslims calling for the release of Shiite prisoners.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - Saudi security authorities dispersed demonstration in the town of Tarout made up of Shiite Muslims calling for the release of Shiite prisoners.

On 31 May 2011 , a peaceful demonstration was held in the Shiite town of Tarout of Qatif in eastern Saudi Arabia, demanding the release of Shiite prisoners arrested recently, calling for political reform in the kingdom, and to support the Bahraini people who were suppressed by Bahraini security forces and against Saudi intervention of  Bahrain.

 Anti-Riot Forces arrived and blocked protesters from moving further using batons to disperse the demonstrators who were patrolling the inner streets of the town .

On the other hand , the General Intelligence (Al-Mabahith Al-'Aamma) of Al-Awwamiya arrested on 31 May 2011, the two Shiite brothers  (Mostafa Mansour Al-Rebeh and Fadhel Mansour Al-Rebeh ) from the town of Al-Awwamiya in Qatif .

 The authorities did not tell their families of the reasons of their arrest , and the location of their arrest is unknown.
