(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - “An explosive charge went off against a police patrol in Iskandariya township, 50 km to the north of Hilla, the center of Babel Province on Monday, killing 2 policemen and wounding 2 others,” the source said.
He also said that an Iranian visitor was killed and 17 others injured in a road accident in Musayab township, 45 km to to the north of Hilla.
“A bus, carrying Iranian visitors, heading for the holy city of Karbala, collided with another bus, causing all the said casualties,” he added.
Hilla, the center of Babel Province, is 100 km to the south of Baghdad.
