A forum on the “Holy Quran; the Final Divine Word and Human Questions” was held today, April 2, at the Cultural Social Center of Paris, France.

(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - A forum on the “Holy Quran; the Final Divine Word and Human Questions” was held today, April 2, at the Cultural Social Center of Paris, France.

According to Saphirnews website, the program was due to begin with the presence of Larbi Kechat, director of the center, as the lecturer and chaired by Jean Abd-al-Wadoud Gouraud, researcher and lecturer of Islamic Higher Education Institution (IHEI) in Paris.

Rachid Benzine, lecturer of political studies in Aix en Provence, Mohammad Diakhou, translator and lecturer of Islamic sciences and Abderrezak Guessoum, lecturer of philosophy in Al-Jazeera University presented speeches on “the word of God and interpretations”, “sanctity of the Quran and human interpretations” and “Divine word: a moral and social guide”, respectively.

Moussa Metwali, president of the Union of Muslim Workers and Omar OBAÏD-Hassanah, director of the Research Center of the Ministry of Religious Affairs in Qatar respectively presented papers on “answers to those who regards the Quran as a human word” and “preciseness of the Divine revelation” at the forum.
