(Ahlul Bayt News Agency) - The 7th edition of international Quran memorization contest titled “Wa’Tasemu” was held for women from January30 in Tajura region in Tripoli.
According to Arab Online website, the competition has been organized by the General Authority for Endowment and Zakat Affairs in the capital city of Libya in cooperation with Abi Al-Ashhar Cultural, Sport and Social Club.
Besides this edition of Quran memorization contests in which about 350 female Quran memorizers participated, the 22nd edition of Quranic competitions for men also began in cooperation with the club in this city with 125 participants.
