Fadlallah said that what the Lebanese and Arab Medias were subject to in Tripoli and Beirut represents an outrageous attack on the freedoms of media, which are adopted by the law and constitution.
He added that these attacks express a dangerous behavior to suppress the Media and prevent the broadcast of facts and events.
MP Hassan Fadlallah added that the riots aimed at terrorizing and intimidating the media, especially the staff working in Lebanese and Arab TV channels, attempting to jeopardize their lives with live ammunition, breaking their cameras, taking over their gadgets, and burning Al Jazeera TV's SNG Van.
Fadlallah explained that these attempts call for immediate action by security and judiciary apparatuses concerned with pursuing those responsible of these practices, in order to protect the Lebanese and Arab journalistic figure so it could freely play its role.
MP Hassan Fadlallah's Media Bureau's statement affirmed the commission's condemnation of the refused behavior, saying that those triggering incitement are the ones held responsible for riots and damages.
The statement added they confirm solidarity with all Medias which have been attacked, also confirming stance with the freedom of the Media, and its right to practicing its professional duty, far from any pressure or intimidation.
