Titled “Hasb-ol-Hal”, the documentary program consists of a rage of issues covering different aspects of the Ashura event. It also dedicates a part to dialogues with Turkish clerics and intellectuals such as Selahattin Özgündüz, a leader of the Shia group pertaining to Zeinabiah mosque.
Ashura incidents, Shia mourning ceremonies for Imam Hussein (AS), the message of Ashoura constitute some themes, among others, to be highlighted in the TV program.
TRT channel started its transmissions regarding the month of Muharram three years ago. “Everywhere is Karbala” and “We are all united” were the programs broadcast respectively in 2007 and 2008 by the TV channel. They featured related subjects including biography of Ahl-ul-Bayt (AS), philosophy of Ashura and its importance.
