Cavusoglu met separately with Patriarch of the Russian Orthodox Church Kirill, Chief Rabbi of the Jewish Community in Moscow berl Lazar and Chairman of the Council of Muftis in Moscow Ravil Gaynuddin.
Speaking after his meeting with Gaynuddin, Cavusoglu said, improving dialogue between different cultures and religions was one of the top priorities of the PACE, adding dialogue was the best way to overcome Islamophobia, racism and xenophobia which he said had raised over the last years in Europe.
Gaynuddin, on his part, underlined that Cavusoglu was the first Muslim head of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe, which he said was of utmost importance.
