TULKAREM -- Zionist settlers burnt five dunums of Palestinian land cultivated with wheat in Khirbat Hamam, north of Tulkarem, eyewitnesses said on Tuesday.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency, TULKAREM -- Zionist settlers burnt five dunums of Palestinian land cultivated with wheat in Khirbat Hamam, north of Tulkarem, eyewitnesses said on Tuesday.

They added that two buses loaded with settlers from Al-Khalil district arrived to the area and occupied the house of Mohammed Al-Jalul for three hours.

They restricted movement of the family members and wreaked havoc in the house and when they got out of it they started fire in the family fields before fleeing the area, the witnesses said.

Meanwhile, Israeli occupation forces (IOF) rounded up five Palestinian citizens in various West Bank areas at dawn Tuesday.

Locals said that the citizens were detained in Nablus and Ramallah villages.

They also said that IOF troops raided the house of Azmi Bani Ode, 35, in Tamun village, Tobas district, and violently searched it.

They added that the soldiers deliberately fired bullets and stun grenades during the raid that ended with arresting Bani Ode to terrorize citizens.
