Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Care should be taken to ensure there is no activity in the religious or educational institutions of Muslims or Christians hurting the good communal relations between the communities, urged a meeting of the leaders of Muslim and Christian communities. The meeting was held in Muvattupuzha in the background of the attack on the professor accused in blasphemy case.
The meeting suggested that official committees for communal harmony should be formed in the panchayat, municipal, taluka, district and state levels. Free and fair investigation should be carried out in the incident. Innocents should not be hunted and a whole community should not be portrayed as terrorists in the name of this. The meeting also warned against the divisive forces that exploit the odd incidents making an air that communities are far apart.
