Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), Ibrahim Al-Ibrahim who heads the administrative council of Qatar’s Dar-ol-Quran Center said that the conference is held under the supervision of the Awqaf and Islamic Affairs Minister Ghaith bin Mubarak Al-Kuwari.
Among the Quran scholar and researchers expected to attend the event are Ahmed Al-Dabus head of Kuwait’s Shafi Quran Center, Jalal Al-Sahrghi president of the Persian Gulf Scholars Society from Bahrain, Ahmed Amer chancellor of the European Academy for Islamic Studies in Britain, Abdussalam Al-Basyuni well-known Qatari preacher, and Muhammad Ibrahim an advisor of Qatar’s Dar-ol-Quran Center.
Highlighting the importance of understanding the Quran, effects of the Quran on society and contemplation on the holy book are among the main topics to be discussed at the conference, whose motto is “Quran, the Pulse of Life”.
