The third round of summer Quran camps were inaugurated in the Gaza Strip by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs on June 10.

Ahlul Bayt News Agency (ABNA.ir), The third round of summer Quran camps were inaugurated in the Gaza Strip by the Ministry of Endowments and Religious Affairs on June 10.

The program dubbed “A Quranic Generation for Al-Aqsa” has been planned for male and female students of Quranic centers affiliated to the ministry.

Imad Al-Juni, director of the Quran Memorization Office of the ministry said, “the Quranic program aims at leading the students to make use of their summer vacation to memorize Quran verses and training a Quranic generation based on principles and teachings of the holy Quran and familiarizing the students with Islamic thoughts and prophetic tradition.”

He added that the program includes two courses one called “Al-Hifz ul-Makin” (constant memorization) for participants to memorize 5, 10, 20 or 30 Juzes (parts) of the Quran and the other “Kunz-ul-Hoffaz” (treasury of Quran memorizers) for those who want to review and fix the verses in their minds.

There will be also be lessons on jurisprudence and interpretation of the Quran during the program which is expected to last for two months.
