ABNA24 - A delegation from the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine visited children suffering from cancer, who are hospitalized at the Warith International Foundation for Tumor Treatment in Karbala Governorate, as part of the "Hope Creation" initiative.
The assistant head of the Public Relations Department at the Holy Shrine, Mr. Muhammad Gelokhan, said: "This initiative came under the guidance of the Senior Official of the Holy Shrine; His Eminence Sayed Ahmad al-Safi, with the aim of providing psychological and moral support to children suffering from cancer."
He added that the delegation visited the children hospitalized at the Warith International Foundation for Cancer Treatment and presented them with some gifts to boost their psychological well-being.
For her part, Ms. Asmaa Al-Abadi, the head of the Al-Afaf Shopping Complex affiliated with the holy shrine, mentioned that this activity is part of the "Hope Creation" initiative aimed at visiting children with cancerous tumors, noting that the children were overwhelmed with happiness and joy, delighted by the visit of the holy shrine delegation.
The Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine conducts a series of regular visits to health institutions to provide sustainable care for children suffering from cancer and to stand by their families.
