ABNA24 - The Relief Committee at the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine held a meeting to discuss enhancing its humanitarian efforts to support the Iranian and Lebanese peoples.
The efforts of the Al-Abbas's (p) Holy Shrine come in compliance with the directives of the Supreme Religious Authority to support the Iranian and Lebanese peoples and extend a helping hand to those affected by the war.
The attendees emphasized the necessity of continuing humanitarian support and developing implementation mechanisms to ensure its sustainability and expansion to cover the largest number of affected individuals.
The holy shrine launched its first relief convoy to Iran, carrying 690 tons of aid, distributed between basic food supplies and medical necessities.
As for Lebanon, it announced the continuation of its central kitchen operations, which provides services to around 5,000 beneficiaries daily in several areas.
