AhlulBayt News Agency: Iran’s Ambassador to Austria Asadollah Eshraq Jahromi has strongly criticized the dual approach and silence of Austrian officials against US-Israeli attacks and emphasized our country’s legitimate right to self-defense.
Speaking in a meeting with officials of the Austrian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Eshraq Jahromi outlined Tehran's positions regarding the military aggression by the US and the Israeli regime against Iran.
He described the military aggression by the US and the Israeli criminal regimes as a clear violation of all rules of international law and the principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter, and called for its explicit condemnation by the Austrian government.
Referring to the attacks against residential areas, hospitals, schools, relief centers, and the Red Crescent, he emphasized that these blind attacks have led to the martyrdom of a large number of civilians, including innocent women and children.
He denounced the silence and indifference of some Western countries claiming to uphold human rights in the face of these actions.
Reiterating Iran’s inherent right to legitimate self-defense under Article 51 of the United Nations Charter, he stated that Iran will give a definite and decisive response to any aggression.
