MP: Iran’s new missiles yet to be tested; US, Israel will face defeat

Member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi has highlighted Iran’s military capabilities, stating that the Islamic Republic possesses yet-to-be-tested missiles, which can be used against the criminal US and Israeli regimes.

AhlulBayt News Agency: Member of the Iranian Parliament’s National Security and Foreign Policy Commission Alaeddin Boroujerdi has highlighted Iran’s military capabilities, stating that the Islamic Republic possesses yet-to-be-tested missiles, which can be used against the criminal US and Israeli regimes.

In a televised interview, Boroujerdi emphasized that the criminal US and Israeli regimes would soon realize the strength of Iran’s military advancements.

The lawmaker said that Iran has not initiated any wars and will vigorously defend its sovereignty against foreign aggressors.

Boroujerdi criticized US President Donald Trump, stating that his provocations, in collaboration with the Israeli regime, will only lead to failure for the US and its allies.

He emphasized that despite facing significant challenges since the 1979 Revolution, including economic sanctions and military conflicts, the Iranian people remain resilient.

He also reiterated the importance of national unity and support for the Islamic Republic, asserting that all sectors of society share a commitment to their leadership.

Boroujerdi underlined that the Iranian military will maintain a stance of strength, asserting that US military bases will be considered targets. He also said that Iran is not Venezuela, and that Iranians will stand firmly against the US.

Joint US-Israeli military aggression began on February 28, 2026, following the martyrdom of Iran’s Supreme Leader, despite ongoing indirect US-Iran talks. Analysts see this as proof of US preference for military force over diplomacy. In response, Iran executed targeted, proportionate self-defense strikes against Israeli positions and US regional bases, warning that further aggression will face a harsher response.
