Larijani told a press conference that Iran and other Islamic states must do their best to assist the people living in Gaza and the occupied territories of Palestine.
Referring to a pledge given by the US president on change of approach in the Middle East, he said President Barak Obama has failed in Palestine as the siege of Gaza continues and building new Jewish settlements in Palestinian cities continues with destruction of homes of the Palestinians.
There is no significant change in the US approach despite of pledges made by President Obama, he said.
"The Islamic states should conduct a unified analysis on regional developments and should find practical ways to render assistance to the Palestinian nation."
On promotion of Iranophobia in the region, Larijani said, “We never want to inflict loss on the regional countries."
"Iran never imagine to attack countries in the region."
“You should be quite sure that Iran considers the nations in the Persian Gulf region as its brothers and expect you to be concerned about the humanitarian disasters Israel is creating in Palestine."
On possibility of military attack on Iran, he said: "Rest assured that the US does not dare to attack Iran."
On possibility of the Zionist attack to Iran, he said they do not dare to make such a grave mistake as the Iranian missiles would burn the regime.
Since they were defeated in the 33-day war in Lebanon, they have lost their courage to enter into a much bigger war, he said adding that the fact is that the US seek to promote its warmongering policies in the region.
“Presence of US forces has angered people in the region and we advise them to remain committed to their pledges to bring new changes, he pointed out.
On Iran’s nuclear issue, he said the story started during the deposed Pahlavi regime when they signed a big deal with the Americans with Henry Kissinger.
Larijani said that the US constructed Tehran’s medical research reactor and German company, Siemens, signed a deal to construct Busheh power plant early 1970s.
He said that in the aftermath of the deposed Pahlavi regime, the US called off the contract unilaterally and refused to provide fuel for Tehran medical reactor and did not turn back its money either.
“Therefore, we had no option except for promoting nuclear science to meet our domestic needs,” he said.
He said that the US along with some western states and the Zionist regime, in particular, exerted more pressure on Iran to halt nuclear progress in the country and embarked on threatening Iran and imposed various sets of economic sanctions, but to no avail.
"Iran’s nuclear achievements is currently a remarkable asset for Islamic states."
He said, “Once, former EU foreign policy and security chief Javier Solana said if we let you attain nuclear technology, we have to give such permission to other Islamic states too.”
They are going to deprive the Islamic states from such invaluable asset, he pointed out.
"They should be concerned about Israeli stockpiles of over 400 nuclear warheads."
Larijani said that Iran’s nuclear program is completely peaceful and the country has no plans to produce nuclear weapons.
"Iran’s policy and strategy is based on non-interference in affairs of other countries and the Islamic Republic of Iran spares no efforts to promote sustainable security in the region and our support for Hamas and the Lebanese Hezbollah is not interference. It is to help those who want to liberate their homeland from Israeli occupation."
Larijani said that the Islamic Republic of Iran and Kuwait are determined to broaden economic and parliamentary cooperation and the ground for active participation of Kuwaiti investors in the Iranian projects is well prepared so, they can enjoy suitable opportunity and facilities to this effect.
Since Kuwait is an important country in the region, we believe that expansion of ties between the two countries would be to the benefit of regional security, the Iranian Majlis speaker said.
