AhlulBayt News Agency: Farajollah Shooshtari, the son of a late commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps, was martyred on Friday night following an assassination attack by armed rioters in Iran’s northeastern city of Mashhad.
Farajollah Shooshtari was a renowned social activist in the holy city of Mashhad with a record of remarkable cultural activities to promote the teachings of the Islamic Revolution and tenets of martyrs.
He was pronounced martyred after an assassination attack by armed terrorists during violent riots on Friday evening.
His father, General Nourali Shooshtari, was the deputy commander of the IRGC Ground Force and the commander of the Quds Base of the IRGC Ground Force in southeast Iran.
General Shooshtari was martyred during a terrorist attack by a suicide bomber of a separatist terrorist group in 2009.
