Gaza officials: Humanitarian façade masks ethnic cleansing agenda

Gaza’s Government Media Office condemned an alleged US-Israeli-backed plan to forcibly displace Palestinians under the guise of aid. The plan, known as “Project Aurora,” reportedly involved BCG and the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation, sparking global outrage.

AhlulBayt News Agency: The Government Media Office (GMO) in Gaza has accused the United States and Israel of orchestrating a covert plan to forcibly displace Palestinians from the Gaza Strip under the cover of humanitarian aid.

The GMO named the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and the recently established Gaza Humanitarian Foundation (GHF) as central to what it labeled a “genocidal scheme.”

In a Sunday statement, the GMO cited a Financial Times report claiming BCG helped create a financial framework to facilitate large-scale displacement of Palestinians from Gaza.

The alleged plan, known as “Project Aurora,” outlines the relocation of over 500,000 people through foreign-funded “displacement packages.”

The report states that GHF—a U.S.- and Israeli-backed entity—was formed to execute this operation. Though it presents itself as a humanitarian organization, local authorities allege its activities have led to at least 751 deaths, nearly 5,000 injuries, and the disappearance of 39 Palestinians.

International humanitarian groups have broadly rejected GHF, with 130 organizations refusing to cooperate, and some accusing it of furthering Israeli military aims under the pretense of aid.

The project is also said to involve secret funding, logistical support from private U.S. security firms, and serious breaches of humanitarian principles, prompting BCG to distance itself from the effort following internal controversy.

GMO warned that these operations—disguised as relief work but intended for ethnic cleansing—are crimes that demand accountability. The office called on the world to reject what it called a “false humanitarian narrative” and to hold those involved responsible.

“These systemic conspiracies are designed to erase the Palestinian cause and uproot our people from their land,” the statement said. “But despite genocide, hunger, and forced displacement, our people remain steadfast and will never abandon their legitimate rights.”
