Ayatollah Reza Ramazani, Secretary General of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, issued a message on the eve of Eid al-Ghadir, congratulating the members and associates of the Assembly around the world.
The text of this message is as follows:
In the Name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Esteemed Members of the General Assembly
Respected Representatives of the Ahl ul-Bayt(a.s) World Assembly in others countries,
Dear representatives of the Muballeghin,
Esteemed Members and related people of the Ahl ul-Bayt(a.s) World Assembly
As-Salam alaykum,
We are so many grate to the Almighty God for benefiting of the success and for feeling and showing the love for the Noble Ahl ul-Bayt (peace be upon them), during the blessed Ten days of Wilayat and Imamat, in this year.
I extend my heartfelt congratulations to each and every one of you, our dear brothers and sisters devoted to the Ahl ul-Bayt (a.s.), on these precious and significant occasions—from the blessed Eid al-Adha to the noble Eid al-Ghadir and the Day of Mubahala—truly among the greatest Eids in Islam.
Indeed, the days of Eid al-Ghadir are an important occasion to demonstrate our
love, to express our devotion, to affirm our loyalty to the Wilayat of Amir al-Muminin, Imam Ali (peace be upon him), and his noble progeny (peace and blessings be upon them), and to reaffirm our obedience to them.
The unifying discourse of the “Ghadir,” which serves as a solid base for Muslim unity, offers the most accurate understanding of the Religion to the community, since Imamat and Wilayat complete the Religion, without them the Religion would be lifeless and without a protector and Wali.
Furthermore, the culture of Ghadir places a responsibility upon the Shi'a— especially the elites and scholars of Islam—to introduce, through their words and actions, the valuable and human-constructing school of Imam Ali (a.s.) and the Ahl ul -Bayt (peace be upon them) in a comprehensive, profound, and precise manner. Mentioning of over 100 attributes of Imam Ali (a.s.) in the Ziyarat of Ghadiriyya is one example of this introduction.
Another teaching of the Ghadir consists in a collective participation in shaping our destiny, as well as we must be actively involved in determining our future.
Accordingly, the best individuals should be selected and appointed toresponsibilities, in base of the Ghadir teachings, the most virtuous should govern, and the Noble Messenger of Allah(peace and blessings be upon him and his family) introduced the scientific, spiritual, and political reference and authority of the Muslim Ummah to all people.
We request from the Exalted God to grant us the success of commemorating the Ghadir’s Ten days and those of the Imamate and Wilayat in the most glorious manner—an act that counts among the lasting good deeds of our lives. May He also assist us more than ever in building the discourse of Mahdism and the Splendid Appearance of the Savior of mankind (may Allah hasten his reappearance)—which is truly the continuation of the path of Ghadir and Ashura.
